How to connect your Instagram account
3 requirements to publish to Instagram with Vubli
- A Professional Instagram account (not personal)
- A Facebook Page (be an admin or editor to a page)
- Your Instagram account linked to your Facebook Page
I know it sounds strange that you need a Facebook Page to get this working but that is how Meta have set things up.
Here are some more details for each of the above requirements:
1. A Professional Instagram account (not personal)
You can easily convert your Personal Instagram account to a Business or Creator (Professional) account.
Changing over your Instagram account from Personal to Professional won't affect your day-to-day use of your account.
See here for more information on the benefits of switching to an Instagram business profile.
To switch over follow the steps bellow (and refer to image below):
- Click on "More"
- Click on "Settings:
- Click on "Account type and tools"
- Click on "Switch to professional account"

If you don't already have a Facebook page (or one that you are an admin or editor of), you can easily set up a Facebook page from your inside your Facebook account. You don't actually have to use the Facebook page for anything else, you can just use it as a placeholder to get this working.
You can add a page here (log into your facebook account first):
